Reconstitution basics for laboratory study

Reconstitution is the laboratory step of bringing a dry material into solution for an in-vitro study.

Solvent, concentration, mixing, container, and holding conditions are material- and method-specific and must come from a validated laboratory procedure.

A Certificate of Analysis that reports identity and chromatographic purity does not by itself establish reconstituted stability or an acceptable solvent.

Only qualified laboratory personnel should prepare these materials. They are not for administration to humans or animals.
